KIRKWOOD, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Students in Kirkwood got the opportunity to experience how the arts play an important role in education by bridging the gap between cultures and generations.
With the help of two teachers who traveled from Rwanda, students at Robinson Elementary created a masterpiece of many colors to create a major work of art.
Pacifique and Trezor turned to art for survival while growing up on the streets of the war-torn nation, and now they use it to help other children overcome poverty.
